Peugeot will introduce the Peugeot Sport reveals the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary Limited Edition a new Euro 6 1.6L THP petrol engine with a symbolic 208HP and 300Nm of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. the 0 to 100 km/h sprint is covered in 6.5 seconds. Although the performance is great, the achieved efficiency figures are low and CO2 emissions are just 125g/km.
Peugeot Sport reveals the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary Limited Edition can count on a braking system to match the performance achieved, with 323mm diameter and 28mm thick discs at the front and Brembo fixed four-piston calipers.
"As with any project of this type, there was a convergence of ideas and needs. Following on from the RCZ R, PEUGEOT Sport proposed that the Brand make a more radical version of the 208 GTi. At the same time the Brand thought about how best to celebrate 30 years of the Peugeot GTi in 2014," said Maxime Picat, Peugeot Brand CEO.
Peugeot Sport reveals the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary Limited Edition version adorned in an exclusive Satin Pearlescent White paint and 17-inch wheels fitted with red aluminum caps, while the lower bar of the front grille will bear the colors of the French flag. Inside, the special edition will come equipped with Satellite Navigation, a HiFi Pack, and a numbered plaque. Peugeot Sport reveals the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary Limited Edition will also be available in Pearl White and Ruby Red.
