2015 Mini Cooper SD performance diesel version powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel with BMW-derived Twin Power variable geometry turbo commonrail with magnet valve injectors capable of 170 PS and 360Nm of torque, making it the most powerful diesel engine with a Mini badge. This setup allows the Cooper SD sprint from 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds, or 7.2 seconds if it is equipped with the 6-speed Steptronic transmission.  Average fuel consumption according to Mini is about 24k m/l, with CO2 emissions of 106 to 110 grams per kilometer.
2015 Mini Cooper SD performance petrol version with a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine. The engine will also feature BMW-derived Twin Power Turbo Technology, direct injection and variable camshaft control on the intake and exhaust side (double VANOS).  The engine is rated at 75 PS with a maximum torque of 150Nm.  It will reach 100kph mark from a standstill in 12.8 seconds and has an average fuel consumption is 19km/l with CO2 emissions rating of between 117 and 122 grams per kilometer.
