General Motors plans to display the latest version of the Chevrolet Volt in the next two years. The hybrid sedan will be developed with a cheaper cost so that the price is more economical.





The Detroit automaker wants to reduce the production cost of latest Volt between $ 7000-10000. So that the price of brand-new Chevrolet Volt could be cheaper and affordable. Chevrolet Volt was first introduced in 2010 as a hybrid sedan. By using the full-electric motors can run up to 61 kilometers.
Chevrolet Volt technology includes a lithium-ion battery with rechargeable energy storage system and Voltec electric drive system with 1.4L gasoline powered range extender. Safety features include eight air bags, four-wheel ABS, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, LED daytime running lamps and a pedestrian-friendly horn chirp alert. Standard interior features include automatic climate control, 7-inch diagonal reconfigurable LCD instrumentation with Driver Information Center, Keyless Access and keyless push-button start, and remote vehicle starter system.
